You mean acme-dns, right? I haven't tried to set it up inside the cluster. It was not possible because it needs to serve DNS requests and that's occupied by Kubernetes service discovery. We have switched to Nomad for pirsch.io, which has the same setup with a separate acme-dns server outside the cluster for the same reason.
